A giant lobster rescued from a supermarket is settling
into his new home at New York's Coney Island Aquarium.

Hercules, a 14.5-pound giant measuring 28 inches from
claw to tail, was moved into the aquarium's Sea Cliffs
exhibit Wednesday, the New York Daily News reported. The
lobster had been in quarantine since being donated in
late December by the owner of Aqua-Visions, a Long Island
company that services aquarium tanks.

Alan Stewart paid $103 for Hercules, or well under a dollar a pound. He says he believes the lobster is between 75- and 90 years old.  "He had avoided fishermen's nets for all these
years," Stewart said. "I wanted to donate him to the aquarium."  Stewart plans to visit Hercules regularly. "He's going to be happy -- and I'm happy that he's happy,"  he said.

"Why does Sea World have a seafood restaurant?? I'm halfway through my fish burger and I realize, Oh my God.... I could be eating a slow learner."
