A Breeder is one who will sacrafice, time, money, friendships, and sanity for the sake of rabbits. The Breeder will give up all hope of a normal vacation in order to assure that there is enough time and money to attend an important show.
A Breeder ignores the body's need for sleep when a rabbit is hurt or injured and needs nursing though the night. A Breeder will also forego sleep if an important litter is due to be born.
A Breeder will pass up social funtions to spend time with the rabbits.
A Breeder ignores fashion, which states that real fur is out. Instead, the Breeder sports a lovely coat of shed rabbit hair that clings to all articles of clothing.
A Breeder's arms, no matter how small, are always large enough and strong enough to clean cages, hold an armful of kits, or carry several rabbits up to the show table when they are all called up at once.
A Breeder's eyes are sharp when looking for new stock or when looking at the competition, yet can be blind when looking at the Breeder's own rabbits. They are often in poor shape from spending far too much time examining pedigrees and other records.
A Breeder's mind is filled with knowledge of rabbits. Oftentimes the mind is so full that non-rabbit information is passed right through or is, at least, stored in a far corner where it will not be taking up easy to access space that is needed for rabbit-related information.
A Breeder's heart is filled with hopes and dreams of producing winning rabbits. They can envision themselves winning at national shows, even if they are still trying to win at a local level.
A Breeder's soul is entirely dedicated to rabbits. Rabbits is almost a religion to them. They care for rabbits, learn about rabbits, breed rabbits, talk to other people who are slaves to rabbits, and have a hard time conversing abotu anything that is not somehow related to rabbits.
