According to The Dictionary of Misinformation, pigs do not naturally eat garbage. Their reputation for doing so comes from the fact that garbage is what they are often fed in captivity. In fact, "of all domestic animals their preferred diet is closest to that of human beings."
Well that explains why the individual chomping on the cheeseburger in the next booth last night was making those strange noises.

Be extremely careful when you place rat or mouse poison. Pets, especially dogs, find it tasty and will eat this highly toxic material. If your pet has eaten rat poison, be sure to see your veterinarian as soon as possible as even a small amount can be deadly.
